The Holiday settlement Stoikite is situated at 5 km to the west of Pamporovo, at 6 km to the southeast of the architectural reserve Shiroka luka, and at 240 km away from the capital Sofia. The caves Uhlovitza, Devils throat and Yagodinska (known also as The Imams Abyss) occur in close proximity to the settlement. The Yagodinska cave is located near the Bouinovo River, 3 km away from the village of Yagodina in the Rhodope Mountain, and represents part of the unique caDevils throat and Yagodinska (known also as The Imams Abyss) karst formation Buinovsko Gorge. The cave stretches for more than 10 kilometers and forms five storeys of labyrinths and abysses. Visitors enter the cave through a manmade tunnel, while the natural entrance is situated some 30 meters above.



The holiday settlement is a preferred place both for winter recreation and for summer rural tourism because of its favorable geographic location and wonderful nature.



In the same countryside, the Perelik Sport & Tourism Resort one of the biggest ski complexes in Europe with investments amounting to 250 millions of euros, is about to be constructed. The resort will dispose of 50 ski tracks with total length of more than 30 kilometers, 24 lifts with capacity of more than 8000 persons per hour, covered car parks and hotels. The high season for skiing will be extended until May. A Congress Center and a golf-course will be constructed later. The entire resort will be situated on more than 10 millions square meters, including 2200 hectares of mountains. The investment for the first tree years will be 94 million euros.
